【摘要】:Thistestmethodmaybeusedforresearchanddevelopment.Italsomaybeusedforqualityassurance,providedastandardhasbeenagreeduponbetweenaproducerandauser.Foridentificationpurposes,meltingrangeshouldbesupplementedbymeasurementsofamorespecificphysicalandchemicalproperty.Thistestmethodisnotrecommendedforrubberchemicalsthatdecomposeattheirmeltingranges.ThemeltingrangeasdeterminedbyTestMethodAx2014;CapillaryTubeMeltingRangeisnotrecommendedasacriterionofpurityofarubberchemical.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthemeltingrangeofcommercialrubberprocessingchemicalseitherbyuseofcapillarymeltingpointtubesorbydifferentialscanningcalorimetry(DSC).1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
