【摘要】:Thistestmethodisdesignedtoprovideloadversusdeformationresponseofplasticfilmsunderessentiallymulti-axialdeformationconditionsatimpactvelocities.Thistestmethodfurtherprovidesameasureoftheratesensitivityoftheplasticfilmstoimpact.Multi-axialimpactresponse,whilepartlydependentonthickness,doesnotnecessarilyhavealinearcorrelationwithspecimenthickness.Therefore,resultsshouldbecomparedonlyforspecimensofessentiallythesamethickness,unlessspecificresponsesversusthicknessformulaehavebeenestablishedfortheplasticfilmsbeingtested.Formanyplasticfilms,theremaybeaspecificationthatrequirestheuseofthistestmethod,butwithsomeproceduralmodificationsthattakeprecedencewhenadheringtothespecification.Therefore,itisadvisabletorefertothatmaterialspecificationbeforeusingthistestmethod.Table1ofClassificationSystemD4000liststheASTMmaterialsstandardsthatcurrentlyexist.Thevaluesobtainedbythistestmethodarehighlydependentonthemethodandconditionsoffilmfabricationaswellasthetypeandgradeofresin.Resultscanvarysignificantly,dependinguponsamplequality,uniformityoffilmgage,diemarks,contaminants,andsoforth.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofpuncturepropertiesofplasticfilms,overarangeoftestvelocities.1.2Testdataobtainedbythistestmethodisrelevantandappropriateforuseinengineeringdesign.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note18212;ThistestmethoddoesnotcloselyconformtoISO7765-2.Theonlysimilaritybetweenthetwotestsisthattheyarebothinstrumentedimpacttests.Thedifferencesinstriker,fixture,specimengeometriesandintestvelocitycanproducesignificantlydifferenttestresults.
