【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardprovidesguidelinestoassistorganizationsinpreparingtodeployIntrusionDetectionSystem(IDS).Inparticular,itaddressestheselection,deploymentandoperationsofIDS.Italsoprovidesbackgroundinformationfromwhichtheseguidelinesarederived.ThisInternationalStandardisintendedtobehelpfultoa)anorganizationinsatisfyingthefollowingrequirementsofISO/IEC27001:-Theorganizationshallimplementproceduresandothercontrolscapableofenablingpromptdetectionofandresponsetosecurityincidents.-Theorganizationshallexecutemonitoringandreviewproceduresandothercontrolstoproperlyidentifyattemptedandsuccessfulsecuritybreachesandincidents.b)anorganizationinimplementingcontrolsthatmeetthefollowingsecurityobjectivesofISO/IEC17799:-Todetectunauthorizedinformationprocessingactivities.-Systemsshouldbemonitoredandinformationsecurityeventsshouldberecorded.Operatorlogsandfaultloggingshouldbeusedtoensureinformationsystemproblemsareidentified.-Anorganizationshouldcomplywithallrelevantlegalrequirementsapplicabletoitsmonitoringandloggingactivities.-Systemmonitoringshouldbeusedtochecktheeffectivenessofcontrolsadoptedandtoverifyconformitytoanaccesspolicymodel.AnorganizationshouldrecognizethatdeployingIDSisnotasoleand/orexhaustivesolutiontosatisfyormeettheabove-citedrequirements.Furthermore,thisInternationalStandardisnotintendedascriteriaforanykindofconformityassessments,e.g.,InformationSecurityManagementSystem(ISMS)certification,IDSservicesorproductscertification.
